A NEW KITCHEN COUNTER

I'm so excited after each new step! I am now waiting for a new color ink cartridge to try different types of wallpaper...

THE NEW PARTITION / LA NOUVELLE CLOISON

J'ai découpé ma nouvelle cloison dans du carton plume, après avoir dessiné deux gabarits de tailles différentes, pour voir ce qui rendait le mieux. J'ai ensuite utilisé le carton plume découpé pour créer l'ouverture afin de créer un petit comptoir qui fera office de passe-plat, et permettra de disposer un ou deux objets de décoration supplémentaires.

I cut the new partition in some foam board, after having tried two different shapes made of paper. I cut a kind of window, then added a small board that will allow me to display a few extra objects.

So here is the new half partition, that I made at the same time as the wood paneling. It will separate the kitchen corner from the rest of the tea room.
