STITCHING DEBUT / POINT DE CROIX

This week I gave cross stitching a try, the aim being to make miniature carpets or tapestries! The problem is the patterns I've found are really too big... I have to figure out how to make smaller teapots!

LE PARQUET / THE WOOD FLOORING

Today I started cutting small pièces of balsa wood to create a wood flooring. I only stopped when I was pretty sure to have enough to cover the entire floor surface. I didn't realize immediately, but  I think it took me at least a couple of hours. Now I am wondering which type of glue I should use, and whether I should put a paint coat first...
