Today I tried two different techniques for my future wood paneling. What you can see in red is what I intended to do in cardboard, to later glue it on the balsa, and then paint it white.
On the right, the second option would be to slightly cut directly into the wood, enlarge the cut with the tip of a pencil, then paint it. Whatever option I will choose, I have to admit it took me a lot of browsing on different types of sites and blogs to find out how I could do!
I must say I got one of the ideas from Otterine's blog, in which she always put great photos!
As you know, my mini hallway came from an original real life idea...and I am partial to the open wainscoting. :D Either would look lovely, though.
RépondreSupprimerYes, but it's one thing to find real life photos, and it's another to be able to render the same effect on a smaller scale!! That's why each time I find myself facing a new type of difficulty, I have a look at your blog. Mmmm, how does Brae do?
RépondreSupprimerWhy are you partial about the new partition? What do you think with the new photos? Tell me when you think I'm taking a wrong path!
No, I like what you've done. Both are great options! I just like the open wainscoting...which is why I used it in my Newport. :D
RépondreSupprimerOh I get it now! I misunderstood when you said "partial"! I was afrais I was about to make a mistake...
